We’re a decade old!
Can you believe it? It’s been 10 whole years since we sent the very first 4hire item out into the big bad world.
Starting with just a handful of items across 4 categories, 4hire has grown into the Channel Island’s leading supplier of hire tools, plant and machinery. Our fleet is packed with over 700 individually numbered items across a whopping 47 categories.
Running this business has been action packed since day one, with plenty of laughs along the way. Here are 3 of our favourite moments from past 10 years:
A 4hire van reaches the Arctic Circle
We love hearing where our hire vans get too. But when we heard a customer had driven one up through Europe into the Arctic Circle, we were blown away.
4hire delivers to the top of a lighthouse
We’ve hired equipment to every corner of the Channel Islands, shipping plant and machinery as far as the Miniqueirs. But when it came to interesting delivery locations, nothing beat taking a compressor to the top of Guernsey’s Hanois Lighthouse. We don’t back down from a challenge, and the views were well worth the effort!
4hire sponsors the Island’s best athletes
In 2015 we were lucky enough to be the principal sponsor of Team Jersey at the Island games. Whilst wrapped in the 4hire branded kit, Team Jersey’s athletes took the win on home soil and hauled in 50 gold medals.
