The Smith FS200 is a cost-effective yet fantastic pavement scarifier to remove unwanted paint or thermoplastic from concrete or asphalt pavements.

This pavement scarifier is great for small businesses or crews that are starting out in the line striping industry and need to remove paint or thermoplastic from sidewalks or streets, asphalt or concrete.  It's perfect for small to medium jobs where line removal is needed but isn't the main objective of the job.

Weighing in at 125 lbs (57 kg), it's a lightweight, fast, and easy to use pavement scarifier that is rugged enough to withstand daily punishment.

You can also change out the cutters on the Smith FS200 with a variety of removal tools to handle virtually any surface-preparation project you might run into.

We sell the FS200 with the Flail-It drum which consists of tungsten carbide 8 tip cutters that can be configured in widths between 4" up to 8".  This drum setup is powerful enough to handle thermoplastic with ease and takes off paint that much easier.
